After three years of college on a Cross-Country scholarship at Wayne State University, Aaron Melch decided to follow his life-long dream and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. For the next ten years, he became a highly decorated leader, rising quickly through the ranks and ultimately reached the rank of Sergeant while serving on the exclusive Marine Security Guard Program. Aaron then joined the fleet, where he became an Artillery Section Chief. Sergeant Melch was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal along with many other awards and commendations.
Upon returning home, Aaron met Dan Fletcher on the racquetball court. They struck up a relationship that grew into Aaron taking Dan’s offer of helping people and working for Beltone. One of the things that guided Aaron in his decision to accept the position of Hearing Instrument Specialist was the mission statement of Dan’s company—“To treat each and every patient as if we were treating a dear loved one.”
Aaron has since become award winning Master Hearing Aid Practitioner with Beltone. He first started fitting hearing aids for Dan and Jean’s office in 2006 at the South Toledo office and in 2013 opened a new office in Perrysburg. Aaron has helped over one thousand patients enhance their lives through improved hearing. Aaron is known for his attention to detail, his drive for perfection and his uncompromising care that he offers to his patients.
Aaron is an avid sports fanatic, both watching as well as participating. He still plays a competitive game of racquetball and enjoys mountain biking.
